I paint in a variety of media but have more recently concentrated on plein air sketching. I believe this allows me to observe the here and now of my chosen venue, be that architectural, rural or a social gathering.

I use pen and ink with the addition of watercolour washes to bring depth and definition to an image. Although remaining true to the scene my style is an interpretative one.
