HAND MADE BY REBECCA started in 2016 as part of an enterprise to raise money for my primary school. It began with simple greetings cards and bookmarks, but over time I have developed a much wider variety of products and continue to grow my range. Everything I produce is completely hand crafted and each product is unique. It represents my personal style which I would describe as colourful boho. My products are made using reclaimed materials wherever possible and I always try to minimise waste and reuse items.

I started selling to friends and family initially but decided in 2020 to try and sell some items online. This was successful and I had a few orders. In 2021 I started attending markets and school fairs where people could buy my products in person and meet me face-to-face. In 2024, I opened my Etsy shop and reached out to local retail outlets in my hometown of Macclesfield. In 2025 I closed my Etsy shop and opened my new shop on Numonday which you can find linked at the top of this page.

I am now a full-time university student but I still love to craft, so having this business gives me the opportunity to do something I enjoy and at the same time provide some additional income to support my studies.

My mum and sister (Babs) both help create the products in my range – mum is a keen crafter who also supports me with events and marketing and Babs has a creative/artsy streak and enjoys coming up with new designs. My grandad (Pa) also helps me by supplying wooden items which he makes in his workshop, as well as providing the display materials for my stalls.
