Hello, I’m Trace, the maker behind Cheshire Home Trinkets, a small creative business based in Cheshire. I’ve always loved making, creating and finding ways to turn ordinary things into something a little more special. I’m naturally much more of a maker and problem-solver than a salesperson, and I love the challenge of taking an idea and working out how to bring it to life.
Cheshire Home Trinkets is all about thoughtful gifts with a personal touch. I create personalised mugs, tote bags, photo gifts, keepsakes and gift bundles, alongside an ever-changing collection of crystals and little treasures that simply catch my eye. I particularly enjoy creating pieces around the person receiving them — whether that’s their name or initial, a favourite photograph, a much-loved pet or something that reflects their personality.
A lot of my inspiration comes simply from experimenting and asking myself, “What could I make with this?” I love learning new techniques, trying new ideas and seeing a finished piece come together — especially when something I’ve created becomes a meaningful gift for somebody else.
Being a small local maker means I can put genuine thought and care into what I create, and I’m always happy to explore individual ideas and personalisation requests. For me, it’s the little details that turn an everyday item into something worth giving and keeping.
